Katariina considers Tapiola Choir as her most important musical education. In this famous children’s choir she toured the world during her teenage years, performing also as a soloist. She has also been a member and soloist in the renowned Philomela Choir and worked as a singer and musician with e.g. the gospel musician Jaakko Löytty.
Katariina is also a theologian, working currently as a music representative at Herättäjä-Yhdistys, an organization of the Finnish Lutheran Church.
In Suden aika Katariina sings and plays Swedish Moraharpa, an ancient version of Sweden’s national instrument Nyckelharpa, and Härjedalspipa, a Swedish wooden flute.
Otherwise she enjoys spending time with her family, picking mushrooms, knitting and reading good books.
